Extremely Disappointed with Dr. Liu's Professionalism

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Liu. From the moment he walked in, he was dismissive and condescending. He asked a few questions, but when I tried to answer, he interrupted and argued with me. What was most frustrating was his refusal to review my medical chart or the notes from the referring doctor. Instead, he made it clear that he considered himself a "Specialist who gets things done" and implied that I was wasting his time. As someone who works in a referral-based system, I would never treat a client with such disregard. I left feeling completely unheard, disrespected, and without any of the help I needed. Very disappointed in both the lack of professionalism and basic human courtesy.

Dr. Jacobs is by far the BEST ENT doctor! He is prompt, doesn't keep you waiting. He fully explains information. He listens to you and he doesn't rush your appointment! The staff is very friendly and helpful! For great results, I highly recommend this doctor for all of your ENT needs!!! ?

Dr. Robert Jacob's is an exceptional doctor, one who cares for his patients well being and truly want to help. It's hard to find doctors like him now when PAs, NPs don't even examine patients but just type on the computer. Dr. Jacob's is a truly dedicated doctor who reminds one of the doctors of yesteryear who actually cared.

Dr. Liu and his team took excellent care of me while I received surgery on my broken nose. I’m super happy and grateful with the results post recovery. At 77 I have visited many medical offices and most are just ok. My experience with ENT Associates was way above expectations. Dr. Sarah Carroll was thorough and took her time to explain her findings after the examination. I would not hesitate to use her again. ENT Associates should be proud to have her on staff.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Robert D. Jacobs and I just had to come sing my praises for the care I received today! The moment I walked into the building I was greeted with friendly smiles. I pre-registered online before coming in so I waited maybe three minutes before being called back for my appointment. I have had to see several ENTs over the past 1.5 years and have had a lot of issues where I have become quite anxious. Dr. Jacobs noticed my anxiety before I even mentioned it and he paused for a moment to assure me and help calm me and reminded me to breathe. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain to me each step he was doing and how incredibly patient he was in answering all of my questions. His entire demeanor was very gentle, calm, steady... everything my nervous system needed. I actually left feeling happy and confident about my after care and expectations. If you have ever experienced anxiety after some bad experiences, you can understand how much it means when you can leave feeling seen, heard, and cared about as a person and not just a number. I unfortunately didn't catch the nurse's name (my glasses were off) but she was very friendly as well. The building is nice and clean and I appreciated the photographs doting the walls (which I learned were photographed by Dr. Jacobs himself). The imagery was beautiful and calming. Small details that help create a great overall experience!

Dr Liu is phenomenal. He has great bedside manner and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. He thoroughly explained what was going on and how to go about fixing it, gave options for medical management vs surgery, explained pros and cons, and provided a no-pressure environment where I was able to confidently choose a path forward that worked for me. My surgery went perfectly and recovery has been a breeze. I would highly recommend Dr Liu and ENT Associates to anyone needing the services of an ENT office.
